Notice is hereby given that on May 14, 2026, the Town Board of the Town of Wheatland adopted Local Law Number 3 of 2026 entitled a “Town of Wheatland Extension of the Large-Scale Solar Energy System Moratorium of 2025.” (A copy of the complete Local Law is filed in the Town Clerk’s Office).

LEGAL NOTICETOWN OF WHEATLAND

Notice of Adoption of Resolution Subject to Permissive Referendum

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular meeting held on the 14th day of May 2026, the Town Board of the Town of Wheatland duly adopted a resolution, an abstract of which follows, which resolution is subject to a permissive referendum pursuant to Article 7 of the Town Law of the State of New York.

Whereas, it was moved by Supervisor Kirch, seconded by Councilman Call and carried,

Resolution No. 73 :

WHEREAS, the Town of Wheatland has established a Reserve Fund known as the “Building Repair Reserve,” and

WHEREAS, the Town of Wheatland intends to make repairs and improvements to the Donnelly House,

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, subject to permissive referendum, the Town Board hereby authorizes the Supervisor to withdraw a sum of $53,969.36 from the “Building Repair Reserve” and apply it to the repairs and improvements.
